How do I tell the US Postal Service to hold my mail for a few months?

I will be traveling extensively over the next 4 months and would like USPS to hold my mail. Is there a site I can go to for telling USPS to stop delivering my mail for awhile?

You can put your mail on hold here:

https://holdmail.usps.com/holdmail/landingView.do

You will probably need to update it each month as it says 3 to 30 days per hold.

you can go to usps.com and fill out a mail hold. they are  only valid for 30 days, but you can fill a new one out every 30  days.
