Got Suspended

I got suspended from Twitter but was able to get back on after accepting that I wouldn't do again what I didn't do to begin with. I don't use Twitter really at all except to read others, so I don't even know how the things got put in there back in 2012 that I wouldn't have posted anyway. So how did it even happen that there were bad things that I apparently put out when I don't even use it, and what is the chance of someone doing it again and I get kicked out again?
