Cannot Open My Tax File

I get an error 510 - which Turbo Tax Help says is a corrupted file. It is not - it is a file saved using Turbo Tax 2009 and I have 3 copies - none of the copies work

Saving your return directly to a portable device (such as a flash or thumb drive) can corrupt the file, resulting in one of these errors. Instead, make a backup copy on your computer's hard drive first, and then copy it from the hard drive to the device. See this page for more info on making the backup:

Although you have 3 copies of the file, subsequent copies may have been copied from the corrupted version. Also, make sure you are opening an actual TurboTax data file. That file should have an extension of *.tax2009. If you are trying to open a PDF file that may have been renamed, you will also get an error 510 message.
