Toshiba Satellite P55t-A5202 Support Question

Power On
My laptop was went to sleep after being idle for some hours. This is not the first time. As usual I pressed on the power botton but it will not come on. I plugged the adaptor and it will not indicate charging either.However two white lights are on; one on the power icon and the other the charging icon.Please what can I do to get it on?
