How Do I Get My Touch Pad To Un-freeze?

Within the first few days of buying the Toshiba C855-S5350 15.6" Laptop, the touch pad froze up when trying to connect to internet. reseting or removing the battery only works until attempting to login. once loging in, it freezes again. Is their a simple fix I can do, or do I need to bring it somewhere?

Before you bring your Toshiba Satellite C855 to a repair center, you can try reinstalling the driver software for the touchpad. The touchpad driver may not be installed correctly or corrupted which requires immediate reinstallation. You can download the driver software from the link below.
