Setting up jumpers to any hard disk drive devices should be done carefully. All hard disk devices have jumper settings somewhere at the back. Now, set the jumper setting by carefully following the indicated jumper settings at the back. Remember that wrong jumper settings may result to total failure of the hard disk because of short circuits.
