Not Supported

I just purchased one of these for use with a SANSUI SLED2453W LED-LCD HDTV.  When I power on the blu-ray player, I see a quick message stating "Not Supported" then a Toshiba splash screen appears, then nothing at all. Based upon the documentation from the TV it supports the HDCP requirement.  Is there anything I'm missing?  Thanks...
