External Sound Bar
I am trying to install a sound bar on my toshiba 65". Problem is the sound bar wont be controlled by the tv remote. i hooked it up with the optical jack (tv to soundbar)The sound on the soundbar works when controlled with its supplied remote but you have to turn the tv sound all the way down with the tv's supplied remote or satbox remote. is there anyway to have the tv recognize it is now hooked to a soundbar? When i turn up the volume on the tv with its supplied remote or the satbox remote it turns up the volume on the tv speakers and not the soundbar.
