How do I use my Tivo with Netflix?
I have a Tivo and a Netflix account and would like to record streaming Netflix movies, but I cannot get my Tivo configured properly.

Netflix is a streaming service. It passes through the TiVo box but there's no "record" feature, nor is one promised by TiVo. This is true of the other streaming services such as Amazon Prime, etc. Since you can stream the content and the providers want to be able to remove the content from the services at will, they wouldn't ALLOW TiVo to provide this functionality.
These services essentially take a "dumb" TV and turn it into a "smart" one. That's all. Just like your TV won't record the streaming services offered, neither will the TiVo box (even though it's equipped with a recorder). That records OTA and cable services only. Hope this helps more than it frustrates.
