How can I actually get customer support/ So far, it's completely usless.

You've probably already tried the number in that link. Maybe this will help: Say "Agent" at each prompt, ignoring messages. Or even better: Avoid waiting on hold by going to http://www.fastcustomer.com/. As a last resort, use the corporate contact information at http://www.corporateofficeowl.com/tivo/Corporate%20Office.
