Dirt Devil 085845 Vacumn. Changed Roller/belt, Too Hard To Push. Not Self Adjus
Changed the belt & roller on Dirt Devil 085845 bagless vacumn self adjusting. It is too hard to push and not self adjusting. What should I do? I ordered the recommended roller for the vacumn.Brenda Cavanaugh

Remove the brushroll and clean out any debris from the bearings. After replacing the brushroll, make sure that it turns freely.
