If you are wondering what is a PIN and the PUK and the difference between them, then let me explain. A PIN (Personal Identification Number) is necessary to protect the SIM (Subscriber Information Module) card from non-authorized access. When every time you turn on your phone, you must enter a PIN. You need to keep a secret PIN code and remember to unlock the phone. If you put in three wrong entries in the sequence, the result will be "SIM card lock". The phone can be unlocked by entering a PUK code.

PUK codes are printed on the license card that is connected to the SIM card. However, in case you have lost your card or certificate is lost, you need to call the provider call center.
