How Can I Reach A Live Person From The Us Social Security Office?
I realize this is not the appropiate place for this question but the SS general information 800 number says it will be a 45 minute wait and its 3:00pm on a midweek day and they are likely to disconect me at the 40 minute mark like Microsoft and Dell information lines always do so I might possibly get a quicker answer here. Also, I'm 76 and not sure my arm can hold a phone to my ear for 45 minutes.

Since I do not know which number you tried call SSA. I suggest you try these to see if you'll have a quicker response.
