I Tried To Download Norton Security 2009 And It Failed.

I have paid for Norton Security and do not have it because the download failed. The CS rep advised he is sending me a 2010 Norton Security CD - order #2562018185

In the meantime, when I turn on my computer I get the message "Another Norton product has been detected and is being removed." followed by the message "Restart your computer" - at which time it turns my computer off -

Since I'm getting the 2010 version of Norton Security in the mail-the CD - how can I get this error message off my screen?
