My 2012 Subaru Forester's Rear Hatch Will Not Open With The Key Remote Button.

My 2012 Subaru Forester's rear hatch will not open with the key remote button.  The lights flash and it chirps a couple times, but won't open.  I can only open it manually.  Is there something in the security settings that need changed, or is this an issue a dealer needs to see?
