Phone Will Not Respond

When I woke up this morning I picked up my phone and saw that both screens were just blank white. It would not respond, I couldn't turn the phone off or anything. I tried taking the battery out and putting it back in about 5 minutes later, but the screen just stayed blank even after doing that. I just got this phone a little over a week ago so it's kind of frusterating.
