How Do I Get My Lg Keyboard To Reappear After It Won't Appear Anymore?

I had the same problem happen on my LG 3 after a system update.
Go into the "Language and input" settings, and long press on the "Default keyboard" section just above the list of keyboard, with check boxes, that are installed on the phone and choose Google keyboard as the new default keyboard.
Of course you would need to first have the Google keyboard installed.
