My Wife's Lg 231c Straight Talk Cell Phone Just Randomly Gave Her A Message

  My wife's Straight Talk cell phone became low on battery power, so as usual, we plugged it up to charge the battery. Nothing unusual about that right? We've done it daily since we got the phone. Readers please, if you see anything I'm doing that sends up a "red flag" in relation to personal daily use of the cell phone, please make it known to me. Thanks. We're relatively new cell phone owners. We've only used them for about 25 years, so I'm sure you can understand my apprehension and timidity about writing this letter, being "new" owners.   Today after charging the phone, she got a message saying "NO SERVICE". This happened in my house where we've never had a problem with having service. Nevertheless, I gave the "cell phone gremlins" (the creatures who regulate cell phone wave traffic) the benefit of the doubt and went outside, trying to improve my reception, to no avail.   I've taken the fully charged battery out for a few  minutes then replaced it, hoping this might reboot the system, but again, failure.   I've noticed that I'm not the first ST owner with this problem. What I haven't noticed is anything to resolve the problem, that is, which allows one to keep the cell phone without further problems.   Can you help please?
