Dvd Remote To Turn Tv On/off

I bought a sony DVD player and was able to program it to turn my TV on and off. But I switched my TVs and lost my codes. Can u help me please. I don't have a remote for my TV. And its a pain to have to get up and turn it on/off and the volume up/down with no TV remote. Thank you!!

Hello, according to Sony eSupport, this model remote is not programmable. It may have worked fine for your other TV but may not work for this one. However, you can purchase a universal remote fairly cheaply and program it to control both your DVD player and your television.

look up the codes from the RMT-D187A use thos e instructions same tye of remote works.
