Sony Rechargeable Bp-hp550-11 2.4v 550mah New Zealand

my nana bought a Sony radio frequency headphone set so that my grandad could listen to the Rv at the volume he needs to be able to hear it without deafening everyone else. But the rechargeable batteries in it have expired and will no longer charge, we have been back to Harvey Norman (where the head set was purchased) and they have told us that they do not stock the battery. We have been to jb hi-5 and dick smiths, as well as a minute man kiosk (they usually have the batteries that nobody else seems to stock). I have even tried looking online but had no success. Can I please find where in New Zealand before purchase one for my nana
