That would depend on your needs. Both are pretty similar with very little differences, so the choice will really come down to the special features each one has. Sony BRAVIA 40" 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (KDL40EX521) seems to be more fancy, while the other one is more basic. I would recommend comparing the two side by side online, via Amazon and Best Buy. That way you can really break it down and see what you want.
