Format Or Reset Ocd Px720
I am unable to reset this recorder. There is no "format" as an option

While the Sony ICD-PX720 doesn't have a direct "format" option, here are the methods to reset it:
1. Deleting All Files:
Turn on the recorder.
Press the "MENU" button.
Scroll to "Delete" and press "OK."
Choose "All Files" and press "OK."
Confirm by selecting "Yes" and pressing "OK."
2. Manual Reset Button:
Locate the small reset hole on the back or bottom of the recorder.
Use a thin object like a straightened paperclip to gently press and hold the button inside for a few seconds.
The recorder will power off and reset.
3. System Reset:
Turn on the recorder.
Press and hold the "BACK" and "RECORD" buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
The recorder will display "System Reset" and initiate the process.
Wait for it to complete.
Important Notes:
Back up any important recordings before resetting, as these methods will erase all data on the device.
If the reset button is not easily accessible or you're unsure about the process, refer to the official Sony ICD-PX720 manual for detailed instructions and diagrams.
