Need Assistance To Make Skype Landline And Video Call

I have made a payment for my skype purchase but I am not able to make a call. When I signed in to my skype account to make a call the dial pad did not show in my computer so I did not see the dial pad to type the phone number that I want to call. Please send me a step by step instruction for making a landline and video call. I have internet connection, a webcam, and a built -in microphone in my computer. I look forward to your response as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your help.
