Why Do I Have To Pay To Renew #? I Thought It Was Free.

I joined Skype about 3 months ago. They are saying that I have to renew my phone number. why do I have to pay for a #? I payed for Skype three months ago and then asked for a refund because I found that calling those on Skype is free. Skype returned my money. Now they are asking me to pay for the phone #, why?

Sounds like a glitch in their system, even though you canceled your "Skype In" subscription their system still thinks you have it and is warning you that it's about to expire. Just Ignore it. Sype to Skype calls are always free and you don't need any subscriptions. You only need to pay if your want "Skype In" or "Skype Out" plans.
