How Can You Scan A Document And Create One That You Can Edit?

You can scan a document as a pdf but it wont be editable. With your MFP(Copier) did you get a copy of sharp desk? Sharp Desk will allow you to convert the document using OCR to a word document which you can then cut/paste/edit.
When scanning from the MFP you can only add pages or rearrange the order, then print them. Is this what you are trying to accomplish?
