You will need a new key and maybe a lock mechanism.
These are a supplier of spares for Sharp cash registers.

There are others if you do an internet search for those models. Auction sites for example. Fitting should be a simple case of removing the top cover and fixing.
This is a link to the service manual for you to read prior to doing the work when you have the parts. It may be possible for you to restore the lock with the aid of the manual. What can happen is the nut that fits the rear of the lock comes undone and just requires refitting and tightening. That would be a no cost option and quicker.
