Fax Reception

My Sharp AR-168D will not receive a fax manually or on automatic.

Hi, check to make sure the fax line is plugged into the wall, and also plugged into the correct port on the back of the Sharp. If you are able to send faxes but not receive them, there might be a fax circuit board problem. Try plugging a phone into the line to make sure you get a dial tone and can make and receive phone calls.
