Can Not Load Files Off Seagate External Drive

I have a seagate external hardrive. I used to load pictures/videos of my kids onto. The computer I used with it crashed. I bought a new computer it shows i have over 70,000,0000 data used but when i plug it into my new computer and click upload pictures/videos it won't load them onto my new computer it just says "access is denied" I have tried everything I can't access them. I am hoping to god they are on there it shows there is spaced used on it but I can't see anywhere what files are in it. I even did a full restore on my old computer and used my tower to back up the whole computer before I restored it. It said it was fully complete so I should have a ton of information on there. It just won't let me get it off of there.
