The suspension system on a 2006 Saturn Relay 3 FWD with a 3.5 engine is most likely a MacPherson strut suspension in the front and a semi-independent torsion beam suspension in the rear. This type of suspension is commonly used in minivans and SUVs. It provides a good balance of handling and comfort.

The 2006 Saturn Relay comes equipped with a MacPherson strut front suspension and a semi-independent rear torsion beam suspension. Both systems are designed to provide a smooth and comfortable ride while also offering good handling and stability. The MacPherson strut front suspension features a lower control arm and a coil spring, while the rear torsion beam suspension features a beam axle and coil springs. Together, these systems work to absorb road imperfections and provide a smooth and stable ride.
