How Is The Successor(?) Model Dp42840 Different From The Dp42849

As far as I can tell, they are the same model with the same features. The remote and the on screen menu are a little different but still just as functional. I had to return my DP42849 when it died after 9 months. Sanyo had me return it to walmart and exchange it for the DP42840 since it was still under warranty. When it worked, the first Sanyo was a great product at a great price. The second model seems just as good. I hope my second TV lasts longer than the first. I assume they came out with the new model to correct problems with the power module in the previous model.
