Changing the SIM card PIN code
To change the SIM card PIN code, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, tap Menu.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Phone settings.
4. Tap Security.
5. Tap Change PIN code.
Note: The PIN lock must be enabled before you can change the PIN code. To enable the PIN lock, tap On under Check PIN code. Enter the PIN code (the default PIN code is 1234). Tap Confirm.
6. Enter the current PIN code and tap Confirm.
7. Enter the new PIN and tap Confirm.
8. Enter the new PIN again and tap Confirm.
The PIN code has been changed.
