The water filter on the Samsung RB195BSBB refrigerator is located in the fresh food compartment, between the crisper drawers. To access the filter, open the crisper drawers and look for a round, white cylinder with a blue cap. The filter is located behind the crisper drawers.
To replace the filter, turn off the water supply to the refrigerator and dispense all of the water from the filter. Then, unscrew the old filter and screw in the new filter. Turn on the water supply and dispense a few glasses of water to flush out the new filter.
The water filter should be replaced every 6 months or 600 gallons, whichever comes first. You can find the water filter replacement indicator on the control panel of the refrigerator.
