Blue Tooth Not Showing Up On My Iphone.

My HM1700 device shows connected on my IPhone but when I dial a number it doesn't show on the screen. I've used it fine in the past so I'm not sure what has happened. It's charged and connected; just not automatically giving me the option to use it when I answer or make a call.
