Diameter Of Gas Inlet Pipe To The Dryer

IN TRYING TO CONNECT THE GAS PIPE WITH A 3/8 INCH COUPLER TO THE DRYER AND DOESNT FIT SEEMS TO BE A BIT SMALLER THAN THE PIPE COMING OUT OF THE MACHINE   COULD YOY TELL ME THE EXACT DIAMETER OF THE PIPE COMING OUT OF THE MACHINE (IS IT 3/8) OR IS IT A MILIMETER DIMENSION. GRATEFULLY IN ADVANCE

You need an adapter to make the connection. It's called a 3/8" female NPT x 3/8" male flare fitting adapter. Your local hardware store should know what you'll need.

Be sure to use Teflon tape when you thread the connections together. If you are not comfortable with the end result, please call a pro to check it out for you.
