I Recently Found A Voit 955mb Magnetic Resistance Cycle & Need A Manual.
I do not know how to work the digital screen. I can't figure out if it had an electrical cord as there seems to be no sprocket for a plug-in. I cannot find the battery compartment. In other words, I am totally ignorant as to how to work this machine.

There are two battery compartments. To left of LCD, the piece of plastic that says "TEST, Endurance,... " is a cover for AA batteries that run the brains. See the slot on left side, along the seam, where you can use a coin to pop it open (twisting motion works for me). the area under control module, between the bars, holds 4 D batteries that power the motor that moves the magnets. Open it same way.. slot along the seam on the bottom (toward the seat).
Mine has a headphone type socket on bottom left corner of the face, labeled "Pulse".. seems only manual mode will work w/o the sensor.. I found your question while trying to see if i can buy the sensor since i misplaced mine.
If your magnets don't move (faint sqeeling sound rather than buzzing of the gear box and noticable tension change while pedaling), you can open it up and clean the "screw" that moves the magnets.. long time ago, i also had a problem with the gear slipping on the screw.. i don't remember how i fixed that...
