Hi. First thing I would check is the connections on the battery and any other place you can see one. I would place a voltmeter on the battery and engage the trigger and take a reading. The battery gauge on the machine can be deceiving and show a full charge when sitting but the battery could short out once a draw is put on it. If it does show low then also check your charger, make sure its putting out the listed voltage on the plug box. If not then start with a new charger. If it is within the listed voltage then I would go with a new battery.

My mower did the same thing and I found that it was because I was overcharging my battery.

All of the below steps worked for me:

If I took out the battery as soon as it charged to 4 green lights and didnt leave it in the charger.

If I drew some power first by using the battery in my line trimmer.

If I left the battery in the mower for a week or two , and let it drain a little.

Hope this works for you.
