How To Run My Csb142lzk Saw

It is a bad trigger switch. The trigger should make a snap sound and feel when you pull it. Mine didn't.
One poster actually took the complex switch apart, cleaned the contacts, and had a terrible time trying to re-assemble it. When he did that, his saw worked - for a while, and then the trigger switch did the same thing again.
Other posters jut took the switch out of the saw and whacked it a couple of times. Ta da! The trigger pull got the snap back, and it worked. I used that method myself, and it also worked for me.
I do wonder how long it will be before the my trigger switch quits snapping again. It is not all that quick and easy enough to pull the switch out of the saw, so that you can give it a whack with enough momentum to free up the "snap".
Other than this one almost fatal flaw in the design of this tool, it's a nice saw when it works.
