sc555 is a fuser temperature error. It could be caused by a dirty thermistor, a faulty fuser, or simply a fluctuation in line voltage. You'll need to contact your service technician to reset the code -- since it deals with fuser temperature and there is a fire hazard if the fuser overheats too much, end users should not reset this code and continue using the copier until it has been examined by a service technician.
