Accidently Put Movie In The Wrong Way And Drive Away.

I returned my movie and as I was driving away my passenger told me there was an error message on the screen. When we went back the message was gone. I usually receive a confirmation in my email about successfully returning my movie, but this time I haven't. Am I going to get charged again or what's going to happen?
