Seems To Be A Very Popular Item So Why Was The Mail Box Alert63-1110 Discontinue

I have been using your Mail Box Alert Cat 63-1110 for many years now.  I know of several people that would like to get one but it is discontinued.  It seemed to be a very popular wireless item for the disabled and physically challenged so that they would know when their mail has arrived without having to make several trips out and down the driveway!  Also the manual is not available anymore.
