The Tablet Will Not Turn On Or Charge And Wont Reset Can I Get A New One ?

My daughter got a RCA tablet for Christmas from her father and he did not keep the box or receipt and a little after 3 weeks it stopped working I try to manually reset with power button and volume key but still it did nothing ... We have taking great care of the tablet my daughter was playing it and she told me it was going dead so I put it on the charger but by the time I did it had went completely dead so I charged it but the battery picture did not pop up showing it was charging so I just kept it on the charger all night the next day it still would not charger and I picked up the tablet and the back was very hot so I took it off the charger I did some research and seen I could manually turn on so I tried and it still did not work ... It was a very great tablet and my family really enjoyed I just hope we can get it replaced with a new one or get this one fixed . We do not want our money back we just like our tablet to work .If you can help that would be great this was my daughters very first tablet and she was so happy to have it thanks so much for your time and god bless Amy & Joshua Bush

Hi. Without the receipt & packaging you will sadly not be able to avail a new or refurbished replacement but a fix is possible. If you could, you would take the back cover and apply charge directly to the battery using an old 5V phone charger leads for a minute and then connect the charger and observe. The battery may simply has gone past the acceptable charge level.
