Dvd Will Not Eject Disc

Hi I have the RCA RTD317W and my dvd player is not ejecting the disc is there anything i can do to get it out. I rarely use it.

1. Unplug power cord.

2. Remove cover.

3. Plug power cord back in.

4. On the DVD unit itself, loosen the four hold down screws.

5. Try the "Open" button on the front of the unit.

6. When I did this, the tray opened as it should.

7. Tighten the screws back up, not too tight; try the "open" button again, just to make sure they aren't too tight. Mine seems to be doing fine now.

8. If it is working well now, unplug power cord, replace cover, plug it back in.
