I Need To Program A Direct Tv Remote To Work With My Rca Rtb1023 Blue Ray.
What is the code please?

I bought the RCA RTB1023 home theater system some time back and had a problem getting the DirecTV remote control to work with it. I found the solution and it works - even the volume.
1. Slide mode switch to AV1.
2. Press MUTE & SELECT buttons at the same time until the LED flashes twice (about 2 seconds).
3. Enter code 31254. The LED should flash twice.
This gets AV1 to control the RCA RTB1023. But to control the volume from all modes on the DirecTV remote another step is necessary.
1. Slide mode switch to AV1, if not already there.
2. Press MUTE & SELECT buttons at the same time until the LED flashes twice (about 2 seconds).
3. Enter code 993. The LED should flash once.
4. Press SELECT to control volume from all modes, or VOLUME DOWN to control only from the current mode. The LED will flash again.
Now slide the remote mode the the far left (DIRECTV mode). Test control of RTB1023 volume by pressing the volume button. It should work. And verification on the remote should be that the LED will flash on AV1.
