Are there any software updates available for the BRC11082? My unit won't play some A format discs.

I've read that in many cases you need to update the firmware to get support for some disk formats.

According to the web site you can also do an online irmware update "You can download the update file from the Product Software Updates document page on our website and save it onto a USB memory stick, then insert the USB memory stick into the Blu-ray player’s USB port and follow the onscreen prompts. You can also use the ethernet jack if you have a home network that has access to the internet, simply plug the network cable into the port on the side of the Blu-ray player and then go into the SET UP menu to select the GENERAL options tab and select SOFTWARE UPDATE from the LAN."
