Starting Problem After Refueling

Every time I fuel my car , I have A hard time starting .. Thought it might be an issue with pressure in tank so tried opening gas cover and putting it back on , but doesn't have an issue at that pouint , only after fueling .Even tried not filling it up , like only $20 worth and still does the same ...Any thoughts on this ?? Maybe fuel pump is what I was thinking , just can't trust car in this condition , dealer is 2 hours away , and garage in town doesn't have the machine to check what problem might be ...Previous code on engine light said timing chains were stretched and would need to be replaced which I haven't done yet ..anything to do with that maybe ? didn't think it did as my problem is only when refueling , has never happened any other time but at gas station !!!
