Key Stuck In The On Position In The Ignition. Won't Turn Or Come Out
can't find a replignition lock cylinder anywhere

The steering wheel is not locked. I can still turn the wheels. I had to disconnect the battery in order to shut the engine off. I can't turn the key from the run position even after reconnecting the battery. I'm stuck there and still in park. Now what.

Why is my key stuck in the on position?
One of the most likely culprits for a stuck ignition key is the steering wheel locking mechanism. When a vehicle is parked, the steering wheel can lock. That's great for theft prevention, but it also prevents the key from turning or being removed from the ignition switch.
