Bearings?

Can you tell me whether or not my Montanna, a 2005 SV6, would have "special" bearings? The mechanic I usually deal with says that I don't have the kind without the sensors (unfortunately, he's in another province now), and the new guy says I do and wants to charge me an arm and a leg to replace them...
