Blows Cold Air From Heater
Requests for more information
Have you bled the air out of the cooling system? Varies a bit from vehicle to vehicle but you will need to a few heat cycles at a minimum. Check your manual. Are your controls working? Do you know if your water control valve is opening?

My first guess is that the heater blower motor is defective. It may be working, but not at 100% of it's original capacity. Make sure that the blower motor is powerful enough to blow air over the heater core so that heat reaches the passenger compartment.
My other guess is that the vent leading out from the heater box is blocked or disconnected. You may have disconnected it when you did the heater core. You may also have a mouse nest in the vent, which is blocking the air flow.
If one (or both) of the hoses leading to the heater core are warm, but not hot, then it's a totally different problem. It could be that you put the thermostat in upside down or you have a defective thermostat. Even if it is brand new out of the box, thermostat's can sometimes be inoperative.
If none of the above are the problem, my last idea would be a bad water pump. The pump needs to circulate the coolant at a steady rate to insure that you have heat inside the vehicle. If the impeller is damaged, it won't circulate the coolant. If that's the case, your vehicle should be running hot.
