Can I Fix My Ps3 When All I Am Getting From It Now Is A Yellow Light?

When I turn on my PS3, I quickly get a yellow flashing light followed by three beeps. How can I go about fixing this issue if there is any?

You can look up doing a reflow on youtube, it involves a heat gun and artic silver thermal compound. I did this method and it lasted a few days, some have reported its lasted months even years. I have figured out to take a hair dryer and blow it in the back vents, i do 3 1/2 min in one vent at the back of the system then i do 3 1/2 in the other vent in the back of the system. Then let it cool off for about an hour, I've done this a few times and my system cuts back on. I've done it one time and my system contined to work for about 3 months with no problem. Then i got the yellow light again and i just do the hair dryer thing and it cuts back on, it usally lasts a few days up to a week now. I've noticed that if i unplug the system after each use it seems to go longer between cutting off again. The main thing is that you can't permanently fix it, you will have to send it to Sony and get it fixed and if they can't fix it they will send you a refurbished system, it cost around $150 US dollars. The hair dryer trick is great to get your game out if it is stuck, or to back up your data before you send it off to get fixed, because they will erase all your data and keep any games stuck in the system.
