Pairing Mode?

When joining (or pairing) a Plantronics bluetooth headset to another device a lot depends on the other device.  Assuming that you know the necessary steps of your phone, PC or other device for connecting a bluetooth device, all Plantronics headsets pretty much follow a set pairing procedure for connectivity. This one is for the Discovery 975:

1 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
2 Turn the earpiece on.  Press and hold the call control button until the indicator flashes red/white.
3 Use the commands on your other device to locate and select your earpiece.  9xx Plantronics.
4 If prompted for the PIN code or Passkey, enter 0000.

Pairing is successful when the indicator on your earpiece flashes white.

Note If your phone supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), you will not need to enter a PIN code or Passkey.

This device has 3 buttons. On one side 1 - power button, 2- volume button- on the other side and 3- call button- is the one on which Blue Led flashes! And follow this instruction:

To Activate Multipoint (for 2nd phone): Your M20 is turned off, now while pressing Call button (it's button 3 - simply press the place where blue Led flashes), now turn on the headset and continue pressing Call button (the same) until LED flashes blue twice. It really flashes twice:)

I think afterwards I turned off the device, I am not sure. I think I did that because the instruction next says that to Pair New or Second Phone you need to turn on headset. (So I guess I turned it off after the first step so I could turn it on again to pair.) Press Call button (button no 3) until the LED flashes red/blue on the M20. And it really flashes :)

Now you have M20 in pairing mode.
